Hi,

I currently own a '95 3.0 PU. I'm looking at replacing it with a 2001 or 2002 4Runner. The question I have relates to the driveline options. I know on the Limited versions from that year, the driveline has a center differential that lets you run in an AWD mode. A switch activates a locking center differential. This option is what I want (I do a lot of winter driving for work and part time 4x4 isn't flexible enough).

Do the SR5 models from 2001 and 2002 also have this driveline? Or are the SR5s all part time 4WD?

yes all 01+ have the AWD with ctr locking diff.
