Be advised that for some models, Toyota had a recall on the rear springs. You might be able to get your dealer to replace them for free. The only thing is that I am not sure if its applicable to both 2nd and 3rd gens.

 

sounds good miles, by the way what size tires are you running and did you need to change the gears out?

 

My tires are 31X10.5 or 31X10.5, can't remember which. Eather way, stock gering is fine.

 

i just think people don't notice. my dad's '90 sags and every time i go home i point it out and he says he just can't see it. it's funny, i remember back when my dad bought i new and i was like 12 or so and thought it looked funny with the sag, but he didn't believe me then, and he doesn't believe me now. i keep waiting for him to want to get rid of it so i can add it to my collection. it's the cleanest '90 i've ever seen.

 

Yes, new shocks are needed after the new coils are installed because it is in fact a lift and the old shocks will be colse to topped out. That's not to say you can't run your old shocks for a while but you really won't get the full benefit untill you do. Check this thread I made. Miles, what model skyjackers are you running?

 

They are Nitrogens but I don't know any more than that. They were $50 each. Just had the parts guy pick the size.

thats a definate impovovement over stock i think ill go with something similar.
