Reaplcing muffler and keeping old pipe...quick question

2001 4runner, will this be the stock replacement?

nothing a tape measure couldn't tell you, but yeah 18" body is the length of the muffler and 4"x9" sounds about right too.

I recommend getting new piping from the muffler exit to the tailpipe. When I welded in a Dynomax to my stock piping it rusted out in a little over a year

same muffler i have the exhaust shop had to weld in a short extension pipe

I cannot decide between this muffler, a magnaflow, or a dynomax, any suggestions would be great, let us know how it sounds once you get it installed.
