#rd gen question. This ever happen to you?

When I put my runner in reverse,I hear a hissing sound coming from under the truck. It runs fine, just wondering if this is normal or not.

LOL yeah man # means a temporary brain fart when I was typing. So far one person other than me has the reverse hiss, and you do not. I wonder if anyone else might chime in and let us know if they hear a hissing sound when backing up.

does the sound go away when you disengage the clutch pedal to back up?

Well, it seems you already heard what you wanted to hear.
Mine doesn't hiss, but mine is probably broken because you both guys hiss, so it must be right way.

I can only hear mine when I'm in my garage and the sound resonates off of the walls. It's a fairly faint hiss, sorta like the sound a power steering pump makes. It only does it when I'm in reverse and on the brake.
