Raised whites or keep it black?

Less than 3 wks. from the project in my signature is complete. I'm just curious to what you out there think. A or B (mind that my rig is black also)

A. Black Rockcrawlers w/ BFG AT's with raised wihites showing
OR
B. Black Rockcrawlers w/ BFG AT's letters not showing

A simple fix if I don't like either but just getting opinions. Anyone have any pics of similar set-up I'd love to see. Thanks

If you are going to wheel it...black. The white will turn brown real fast otherwise and can be a pain to scrub clean.

I like 'em both ways depending on the tire;I have Geolandars and the lettering is not as huge as the Revos and a few others so I like white out.

I don't have any problems keeping them clean and using meguires Endurance every few weeks and wiping the excess off the lettering with a clean paper towel has actually kept the lettering near new white for almost a year now.

you can goto wall-mart and get Bleach white, that works wonders for cleaning white walls. If you're going to BFGs, I'd go with white out. Mine's out because I wanted to look different. Trucks and old muscle cars are about the only type of vehicles that can get away with white out so that's what I chose. I'll prolly choose black out if i go with cheaper tires. You spend top bucks for the name and product's reputation, I dont see anything wrong with showing if off? unless it looks ugly to you.
just my .02 cents

Thanks for the responses. I'm still torn but leaning more towards black out but then again BFG has pretty nice lettering. Decisions, decisions...at least it's an easy reverse. I saw "flyaddict's "same combo on dark green and the black out looked good. Anyone have pics of white out on black steel? Thanks

I really depends on the color of your truck on how well the white letters look. I have em out on the 84 (BFG M/T's). It's brown and they look pretty good. I had em out at one time on my Tacoma and with it being a light color, it looked bad to me. On the red runner, I really like it either way but prefer the black out.(BFG M/T's)

It really all depends. Your rig is black so I'd be torn too. White letters look good with a black rig but goina all black looks good to. Ah hell, now you got me confused.

I put my BFG Ko's white out, and they looked small. So I fliped them around and they look better now. But I'll be putting 33s on them. Maybe I'll go white out since it will be big

I have the black letters out on mine. It'll look nice to see a black rig with black rims and tires.

My vote:

I just wish the rims didn't come with those stupid red and blue stripes! What nimrod came up with that?
Someday, I'm probably going to strip the stripes.

Black out. Too many soccer-mom SUVs are coming white out nowadays that I think the white out has lost its four-wheeling look.

My $.02 of course.

White.

Come on guys, its not that hard to clean the tires. You can spend 6+ hours Porter Cabling your trucks/rigs but can't spend an extra 5 minutes to clean your tires?!?!
