Ahh, the debate continues. The more I think about it I think I'm going for the black out, but will do the crome lugs and caps to add a little color (I saw it on another rig on Cardomain and it looked good). I've seen 4wheel part's black spoke steelies but haven't seen anyone else who makes them like that. Farenheit 451 has the ones w/ the blue/red stripe which I don't care for or understand why they put those on there anyway. A friend said those might be made by Crager as that is their signature?? Thanks for the response and pictures and black out is going to be it for me this go-round.

The striped wheels are, American Racing (model 767's)

4wpw offeres the Tech1 solid black rockcrawlers (model 51's)

and they also offer em with round holes (model 97's)

www.wheelersoffroad.com also has some solid black ones with round holes.

IMO, the round holes look best.

Black...

Remember the three color rule...

AND.. Bleach-White works great on blackwalls... cleane 'em up so ya dont need Armorall... Makes blackwalls the blackest black on the blackness list..

you know vote, thought I'd post it here though. Black out, makes the tires look bigger and meaner especially on the black steelies. The tread pattern of the BFG AT KO's is unmistakable, so anyone who knows what's up will know what tires they are from a distance. Good luck on your decision, either way I know you'll be pleased!

I always argue this kinda thing with Brian (waskillywabbit). I think it all depends on if you have a girlfriend/wife or not. If you do get black because its more practicle and easier to keep clean and seems more rugged. If not ,and are looking for one get white out, which i think looks better myself, but you have to take care of it. To add to my little theory, u have to get the black out once you get wife/gf because youll have to waste all that time on her instead of doing things like keeping your tires white!
