Radiator Fan
#1
I have a question for anyone who can answer it, or anyone willing to listen, preferably both. I am looking for an electric fan for my tacoma because I want to pull off the belt driven fan. There are a few reasons I want to do this. I realize this frees up a little bit of extra horsepower, but this is not actually my biggest concern. I put a 3" inch body lift on my truck and now the radiator sticks out the bottom, below the bumper. i had to keep the radiator in-line with the engine because of the fan shroud, but if I got an electric fan, I could eliminate this whole problem, and move the radiator back to its old mounts, and get a few more inches of clearance out of it. There is a scratch guard for the radiator, but I could ditch that too If I re-mount the radiator. Anyways, if anyone knows of any electric fans for tacomas please tell me. I find them for older toyotas all over the place, but never for tacomas. Thanks for listening!

Go to the page below:

The FLX-210 should work on your truck. www.summitracing.com carries them for about $216.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the info.
I appreciate the help there. I will check on those fans. I am fairly knowledgeable when it comes to trucks, I just don't have the best connections for parts dealers in a small town here. Its not that small of a town, just not much offered for off-road stuff, there's too many people in our town into sports cars. I love cars too, but off-road is just as enjoyable as on-road for me. Anyways, thanks, if you have any questions, just ask.
