I am using PP springs with my stock shocks. It handles so much better than stock springs and I no longer feel like I am going to roll over when making a turn.

I ended up using the OEM shocks, the ride isn't bad, but I am going to replace them with Bill's down the road.

I have had this setup for almost 3 years
Stock w/ 265/70's

Afterw/265/75's

The springs are a lot stronger than stock. I would have bottomed out with the stock springs, but as you can see, with the boat hooked up, a soft bag on the roof and packed with camping supplies, it is sitting at stock height.

Lee,

Yeah, i got them from Cornfed directly and ordered them off their site that goodwinaustin posted. I went with them because i liked how they were aluminum and i know that the spacer won't sag. They came with a cool sticker too. I also got the diff drop from them since i could just pay for shipping from one place instead of ordering from Sonoram and having to double up on shipping. Looks like my buddy will be able to put everything in for me next weekend. I'll definately post the pics. I'm ordering my body lift today and i'm waiting to see if their welder works right now so i can just get the panhard drop bracket instead of the bar. Can't wait to get it done. Lee, let us know what you wind up doing. Let me know if you're ever in the Foxwoods/Mohegan sun area and we'll meet you. You can ride in my runner after the stuff is installed to see if you like the ride. Later.

Drew

cool man, thanks. where do you wheel? any not-so-challenging trails i can take on? ive only ever done one wussy forest route and just some mud spinnin' on my friend's land in NH.

also, you dont need to do the panhard drop or diff drop if the lift is under 2.5", correct?

I actually haven't had a chance to wheel since i got the runner. I used to go to my buddy's farm but thats not available anymore, long story i'd rather not get into now. There also used to be a sweet pit right next to Mohegan sun but thats out now cause they are tryin to take over that land. I think the guys that are goin to do my lift know of some places cause they all have huge rigs and wheel quite often. Sonaran Steel suggests the panhard drop for any suspension lift 2.5" and up so i'm goin to get it just to be safe. the spacers are for a 2.5" lift. They are different heights for the front and the back, but the lift they provide will be 2.5 inches.

i bought the pp springs after all. they arent going to get here till the end of april. which is fine by me. thatll give me time to get bilsteins.

i just spent 200 bucks on an infinity basslink 10" powered sub too.. lots of projects!

sub will go in in a couple weeks.

once i save for bils and the springs get here, those will go in. then comes 265/75 bfg KOs before next winter.

I'm glad I picked up the same ones then. I had ordered mine from Cabe and they had sent me the wrong ones for the rear, which were ment for a FJ-40. Too sum it all up I got pinched for duty and shipping back and forth.
