so from what i have read these 4runners come with 4.10 if u had the 31" tire option stock and is it the same 8" diff in the 94 4runner because i have 4.88's and a grizzly locker for my 94 but i was wondering if it could just put it my 02?? or is that gearing to crazy? i am running 285/75/16's

 

Might be a little tall for 33's.....

 

thats what i thought.... what is every one elts run in the 3rd gen for gearing i know the 2nd gens every one does 4.88s or 5.29's but it seems like these trucks they dont go as steep

 

Does your 02 have the same axle housing as the 94? I ask this because I though that the axles were different. I thought the rear was like 8.4" and the front is 7.5" and reverse cut.

The rear is the same as all 8in. Tacomas are different. Front changes from 95 to 95.5/96. Tacomas and 4 runners are the same clamshell. 488s are good for 33s. 5.29s are good for 35s
