Hi All, next to the transmission lever there are two buttons. One is to control the rear window, the other looks like the rear de-fogger switch. However there is also a rear-defogger switch on the dash below the hazard button. What is the purpose of this second de-fogger button? Oh, this is in the 1992 ssr_x surf.

 

Trinidad huh? Hilux huh? Could it be the ECT "power" switch that raises the shift points? Or maybe a overdrive lockout?

 

the only other button i have down there is the rear window lockout which doesnt let me roll the window down, but it is small and square, not rectangular. Maybe the surfs are different. There are a few people on here with the surfs who i am sure will chime in.
I dont suppose you have a pic of it? Or an owners manual which describes all the buttons in the cab? Just a thought.
