Questions for "Blu" about intake

I dropped you a PM, But I don't know if you got it.. I have just a couple questions on your intake mod..
Can you get to your oil dipstick, or would it be best to try to relocate it?

Any diffrence in sound?? (as in bad sound) I had trouble bypassing the upper resonator

Just curious here, did you look in to those 3" plumbing flex hose couplers that have clamps on them?? Seems like they would work perfect!

Do you still think there was a noticeable improvement??
Thnaks, Lee

Well,

My sound did not change!!! And I noted that I can't really find the dipstick hole once I get it out unless I remove the airbox cover and shove things arround a bit! Plumbing parts rule!

(just out of curiosity what does BUMP mean?)

Lee, another guy here also did the install on the 3.0.
I wrote to Blu over a month ago to ask him a question about it, and again last night, but I have not heard from him.
I do not know what happened to him

Travis, bump, bumpity, TTT (To The Top) all are shortcuts to get the post bumped back to the top of the forum again for posters to see.

Posts get buried here real easy as this place is a hoppin' machine

I originally started checking out this board because I came across a link to Blu's mod. Corey gave me his info but he never replied to any of my messages.

Dang.. Well I think I am going to do this soon enough... I may look into playing with my spare dipstick and seeing if It can be bent & relocated a bit to a better spot to get to.. I like the clean look, but tell me, is the TB & outlet port 3" ?? seems big..

Hey Supascout, is that PVC your using???

In Cory's mod he used a steel pipe that was modified at the muff shop. Is it wise to use PVC in with all the heat generated under the hood?

Also, what pick up gains have you noticed?

Thanks.
