Questions on 6" suspension lifts for 3rd gens
I am not planning on getting one, but, I had some questions about it, and if it would work.
First off the front end, you would need to buy a fabtech or trailmaster 6" suspension lift which is basically just a huge ass spacer (not in the pack). As well as a welded "differentail drop" to keep the front axle at a stock position, correct? Do the A-arms stay at a stock position too?
The rear you would need some 3.5" lift coil springs as well as some spacers with a custom panhard drop. I guess you could do a leaf spring conversion too, but, just for simplicity stay with the coils.
Would this setup work? Or would you need to make additional modifications?
Anyone have any pictures of the front end of a 96-2004 tacoma with this lift? I would just like to see what it looks like.
