Your question is a bit unclear, yes you will have "do something" to the ARB in that you will have to remove it, then reinstall it to take out the old gears and set up the new gears, but no in the respect that on Toyota vehicles, you do not need a different part number air-locker for different gear ratios like some rigs. That is unless you are talking about an FJ40 which has two different part numbers depending upon what gear ratio you go with...

It's unclear what vehicle you are talking about and what "do anything" means to you...

it would be better to regear now so you don't have to pay to have them installed twice...

Thanks... I saw that once I went and looked at the profile...

ARB only lists a rear application for that rig,

1984-88 4Runner 4Cyl 45mm carrier bearing RD01

For all gear sets.

Nope it's me... I read the chart wrong... the front is either an RD01 or an RD90, the same one the Tacoma uses... Depending upon the size of the ring gear and IFS or SA. I guess in this case it would be SA, so that would make the front locker the same as the rear.

But, either way, it's still not dependant upon the gear set
