question about front 3rd gen lift install

So I got the rear part of my lift installed (2" cornfed spacers) and I am going to go after the front now tomorrow. I am installing 2.5" cornfed spacers. Rather than dealing with the spring compressor I am going to take the coils to a shop and have them do it for me. Here is my question, the trick to getting the coils out is to put a bottle jack upside down on the upper arm. Now can I unload that jack completely and take it around to the other side or does that upper a-arm need to stay in compression? The reason why is because I am going to be taking both coil packs out to take to the shop, not doing one at a time. Here is a picture as to what I am talking about.

I returned your e-mail. Yes you can remove the jack.
