Probably an Easy Question..

I'm getting ready to do the radiator replacement for fear of the strawberry milkshake after reading so many stories. My question is how do you take off the coolant reservoir to clean it out? mine has some gunk in there that I'd like to rinse/wash out while I'm flushing and doing the swap.

Unbolt it and wash it out. I just filled mine with rocks and baking soda and shook it a lot. Rinsed it several times and put it back on. Seemed to work.

where is the bolt. that is my question. It looks like it just floats there between the top rad support and battery.

Mine slides onto a rail and just hangs there. I've cleaned mine out before with some Simple Green and a whol lot of rinsing and it worked great.

Well I did see some black thing on the front side but I probably didnt try pulling up hard enough to break it free. I shall try again. Seriously I was feeling all around for a bolt/bracket and was kind of mystified on how that thing is retained.

Just pull straight up on the reservoir. The reservoir is formed to slide down onto a fixed bracket.
