Why couldn't they dismantle it piece by piece, and when pieces no longer bolt off, cut off chunks of it? Like on Junkyard Wars. Yeah its a shame to have to happen to a yota, but like everyone is saying, its just gonna aid tree huggers in closing trails, and like Tread Lightly says, clean up after yourself.

Cant someone with a really powerful which and a block and tackle extract that yota from a poistion above where the jeep and the other yota were?

im figuring that wreckage weighs around 3500lbs now that it's been stripped, so get a 12k lbs whinch, then construct a simple block and tackly and you have at LEAST 24000lb of pulling force....

Looking at that hill.. I don't think someone is going to want to be up 1/2 on that hill and try winching that 4runner out... Cuz who know's that vehicle might roll too...

From the looks of it, that hill is a one way up and one way down... no turning back 1/2 by making a turn...

You would have to line up the recovery vehicle in an angle that it too could roll down...

I'd say cut and torch or just leave it there.... sux though
