Prerunner or not?
I was under the impression that if a tacoma was a prerunner model, that it had the rear diff lock. The other day my bro's new GF was over, and her 02 2.7 tacoma said prerunner but had no lock.

Only the TRD edition prerunners came with the diff lock. The TRD's, to my knowledge also only came with the 3.4L.
