Power Steering problem, some advice or experiance?

Hey, I have a 1990 4Runner and I am having an issue with my power steering, more specifically my power steering fluid. Every night when I go to leave work, my truck is empty of power steering fluid, and there is no noticeable leak! I can see any drips when I watch, and there is no fluid on the ground. this is an absolute mystery to me, and im pretty concerned. Where could all this fluid be going?

Thanks for your time

My 3rd gen did the samething. The fluid gets blown around and goes all over the place so none of it dripped to the ground. It is a concern cause it means its leaking. I had to replace my pump and pulley assembly.

if you are finding the ps sump completely dry then you probably have to rebuild or replace the unit.

not sure whether you have the 22re or 3vze, but here's a good link for the 3.0

hope that helps some.
