hi all my third gens power locking system is acting up, here are the symptoms. when my driver side door is shut I can only unlock my doors they will not go down -Lock-. when I push the lock button I can here the locking computer(clicking sound) but the locks will not go down. also when my driver door is shut and I press the lock button nothing engages at all-no clicking or reaction from the lock computer. Ive checked all the fuses and they are fine, what can be the problem? has anybody ever experience this before? my runner is a 99limted 4x4. any and all info will help. thanks

 

is this while it's running? i'm pretty sure that 3rd gens and up (not sure about others) don't allow the locks to be engaged while in neutral...so you don't lock your keys in...just my thought
