Question Post Tacoma Pics please

Hi all -

I'm trying to decide what color Tacoma I want. I have my heart set on black with the black color keyed bumpers.... but I know how much of a pain it will be to keep clean.

I was hoping you guys would post up some pics of your Tacomas. I'm planning a 3" lift and some 33's... but I'm fairly new to aftermarket lifts and such so any input would be great.

I am planning on a Xtra cab V6 TRD. This will be a daily driver so it can't be too extreme. I've nosed around and it seems like a 3" lift/33" tire combo looks just about perfect for me.

Oh - I did do some searches but didn't come up with much so please don't flame me too badly.

Thanks in advance!
Jim

Let me get this straight... you are stuck on the color
Just get one, I will be more than happy to spray paint it whatever color you want.

Just teasin you a bit man... I love mine. Easy maintenance colors are light, darks are harder. Seriously get one and don't look back... I love all my toys for one simple reason. Reliability! As for the lift... thats your call, whatever your comfortable with. Just keep in mind that the 3.4L will lose some guts w/ bigger tires under it, so you may want to think of a regear for it also.

Oh Yeah! Welcome to the board!

Here's mine in "Imperial Jade" (dark green )
My truck has had a few minor changes since this...

The reflection of the sky doesn't show off the green very well. I'm going to see if I can find a better picture...

ah, here it is... please excuse the tires
This was a free car wash from the dealer and they ignored the tires.

tacoma

I have a white 02 trd ext cab and I really like it. You are right about black being hard to keep up but if you spend the time it looks great. Me and my wife both had black cars before and it was a lot of work now we have white and silver much eaiser to keep looking good. However their are some black rigs on here that look great. Just dont settle on a color you are not going to like in a year. just my .01

later

Thanks for all the pics!!

I've decided I want a black with the color keyed option... black bumpers/grille/etc. If anyone knows of one for sale - let me know. I want a V6/Auto/Xtr cab.

Thanks!!

Jim

In my opinion silver is the great color. It looks good and very easy maintain. Neither dust or dirt is visible, unless it is REALLY dirty!
