Poser shots and new wheels
One thing I've found out by working on my 4Runner over the years is that it's very sensitive to modifications. That was the case with the spacers I recently installed. One of the spacers wasn't machined quite correctly and caused a constant steering wheel shake at 40-60 miles per hour. Instead of dealing with the spacer, I made the decision to take them off and install new wheels instead. The wheels I chose were Pacer's 164P model. They have a 4.25" backspace and -6 offset which gives about .75" more clearance than the stock wheels, and should be plenty for 305's or 285's with larger lugs. I love the new look of my Runner...funny how new wheels can make such a difference!
Some poser shots:

As requested, a couple showing how far they stick out:

Upper A-arm clearance is much better now:

I actually got a great price on the set from a local auto dealership and couldn't pass them up. The only downside is that they're polished and will take a good deal of maintenance. I plan on polishing them at least every 6 months to keep them looking new.

time for you to change sig. no more stock wheels. looks great.. actually that is exactly ones I want for my rig. BUT i like my stock wheels. maybe next year.
edit: can you post a pic from either drivers side or passengers side so i can see how much tires stick out with those wheels

Thanks for the compliments. I agree that these wheels definitely change the look of my rig for the better.
The TXR II's have about 40K on them now and look like they'll go another 20K at least with solid tread. They just don't wear out! I'm getting to the end of the siping though, so we'll see how they do this winter. Iowa winters can be brutal with lots of snow and ice.
They are hard tires to find. Hit up the Multi Mile tire site and search for dealers. IIRC, I paid ~$700 for the set + mounting and balancing, etc. BTW, my stock 5 stars are still for sale, but will be going on eBay this weekend if they don't sell here. Make me a reasonable offer and they're yours.
Got to leave them on for now. With the lift, my wife (who's quite petite) needs them to get into the rig. Not to mention our 15 month old who will trying to climb in by himself soon. It would look better without them, but it isn't going to happen for a while unfortunately.
I'm planning to take some better pics very soon and will include those you requested too. Keep an eye on this thread and you'll see them.
