Please Help..
Me and 2 friends were installing a bunch of stuff yesterday...and as me and another were puting on my new style headlamps..my other friend was tinkering with my existing shift knob..b/c we intended on installing a new one next...he unscrewed the existing one...and thought he had to pull on it to expose the overdrive cable to disconnect it...we ended up running out of time...and didn't get to do a lot of the things we wanted..so we simply screwed the shift knob back in and left it for now....later that night i went out to drive my car..and it would not shift..
I then realized my friend must have pulled something out..or did some sort of damage when messing around with it...it is just stuck in park...
Do y'all know what the problem would be?

maybe he pulled something else loose when he pulled on it to get the O/D cable off.. i dont really know someone will though im sure. maybe you could take it off and check to make sure everything is back on in the right place.

I found this on a Canadian sight, hope it helps.
Don't know if this is specifically for your
model by sounds pretty generic. It"s for
replacing a shifter, might help to let you
know what hook-ups to look for.
