Pics!!!! are these rims 2 bling bling? with 285's

I wanted 285/75-16 tires on my runner, searched and read all I could. Concensous was 'this can't be done without 3" of lift', even the guy at the tire shop said "you need 3 inches of lift to fit these". All I have are PP Springs and Bilstiens. Well I searched some more and found by getting 16x8 rims with 4.5 offset I 'might' be able to fit them without addtional lift or shaved/custom uca's. So I bought the bling rims! and Goodyear 285/75r16's. See this thread
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f123/these-rims-too-bling-bling-91146/

Before:

I didn't need to do any trimming or anything. So far doing full lock left or right steering and punching it forward or reverse causes no rubbing at all. Going into driveways 'hard right' and 'hard left' trying to get it to rub, produces nothing. I think offroading I might/will have to trim the frt valance and pound the pinch weld, the tires are really close, we'll see :-) .The rims and tires being brand new, and look a little odd on my 7 year old runner but once the brand new look goes away, I think they will be perfect

At full extesnion on lift the uca didn't get closer than 1/2-3/4" to the tire, I could still put my hand between them, with one side of the truck lifted up like a foot, I could still get my hand bewteen the the tire and the control arm. here's a pic at level

Pictures of the new tires and rims.

Personally I like the stock alloy look. Those rims look okay, but in my opinion they are a little bling for a 4runner.No offense, but you are asking for opinions.

Dude...

No problem I will bring Jody. She is a corpsman and could easily take care of a quick birthing out on the trails. That way you would break the kid in right from the start.

Sorry Beer

fuzion I use mothers back to black on the flares.

I will definitly post up on the tires performance.
Only driven them to work, went the same way I always go, the tires are a lot smoother than the dueller(sp) A/T's I had on before. the goodyears seem to take the bumps better and they corner ALOT better. my truck has a lot less lean on the on-ramps and off-ramps I take.

Wow that looks really good. Good choice in wheels. So you say you have little or no rubbing? I was looking to get those wheels myself. Are those 16x8?
