I have the same tires on my 99 and they are awesome! A bit heavy but they are great in the snow, ice and not too muddy off roading. And no, I don't think the rims are too blingy - I like the polished look...

You just sold me on 285's again. And those rims look awsome. There are so many different rims out there and I am also trying to find the "perfect" rim.

So having wheels of this size, do you still run stock 4.10 diffs? How does it feel?

They don't look to bad!! I would've got the polished Aluminum instead of chrome for an off-road'n 4Runner so you can just sand and polish out the rock rashes!! But they do look pretty nice!!

You should get the Center's painted black with a chrome lip!!

wow old thread, I have an auto w/4.30 gears. I lost alittle power from the 265/75r16's I had on before. I have no rubbing issues on the street. I'm going offroad this weekend and then I'll find out if I need to trim anywhere. these rims are just polished not chrome. I really like the goodyear tires. they drive great!!! way, way better than the bridgestone duellar a/t's I had on before. the rims are 16x8 with 4.5" backspacing. and to the haters I like my bling tail lights.
