cootees, nice looking ISR tube! It's about time someone made one for us. One question: How are the vacuum ports held to the tube?

Are there nuts on the inside of the tube holding them in or is there something else?

Yeah, it is a little pricey, but it's not much more than the stock hosing and frankly, I'd rather pay a few extra bucks to someone who has already done the leg work and has a finished product. I figure it would take me about 1/2 that $$ is raw parts to make one of my own and at least several hours to make it since I've never done it before. My time is worth more than that. It's not like I'm going to be putting a new one in every 5,000 miles -- this is likely a "once-and-done" mod. There's just no benefit to me to go cheap and build my own. $75 seems like a fair price. I'll be in contact.

Man, it sure seems like the stock hoses cost more than $75. There are two rubber hoses, one on each side of the silencer (hard plastic doohickey) that are replaced by the ISR aren't there. I replaced both hoses awhile back and I think they were pretty expensive (stealer price of course).

No, nuts on the inside of the tube. Like many of you I would be afraid of the nuts coming loose and getting through the tb. I have been experimenting with several methods, I have been most successful using rubber grommets. I am also currently working with another company to custom make me some grommets with built on sleeves to the specs I need.

I'll post it up in the group buy section when I am ready. The way it will work is for every 5 people the price will get lower. I'll post up details in the group buy thread when I am ready to get it started.

The only pic I have at the moment is when I was test fitting the pipe... so the ventilation hoses are not connected and the pipe is unpainted.

I'll see if I can get a better picture tonight with the completed intake. Just hope yall do not mind a little mud caked on my engine.

For anyone wanting to complete their own ISR, an option for the hose attachements I have used:

Two PVC valve grommets (about $2 each - parts labeled "Help" in the auto parts store)
One PVC valve, drill out the bottom, remove the spring etc. - this will be used for the smaller hose
Reuse the 90 deg plastic elbow in the original intake for the larger hose

For about $6 in parts, I don't have any worrys of a nut comming off inside the intake.

This thred is so old and looks like no continuation and after a year no part #s I tried it myself.
Pulled some pictures and ran down to the Ford dealer and shown the parts tech.
He said he knew what I was looking for and gave me a printout.
Thought he was wrong but Saw what he ment in the picture.
These are component to a 2003 F350SD (Super Duty) 8cyl 7.3L
Turbocharger air cooling system.
6C640 For the Blue rubber endconnectors
6K769 For the tube ( This will need cutting to length and drill and tap fittings)
He didnt have any instock but if somone else could confirm this Im sure many here would like to know.

Well, I checked somemore.
There are 2 different 6C640, The nicer one is a 6C640-ca about $50
The other is 6C640-la looks like all other connecters, $40
Yoy can get the whole tube assembly for $115
What a rip, I remember getting old tube material like this for pennies a foot sometime back, Now its all the rave, Inflation kills.
