Paint Peeling Off My Fenderflares!

The paint on my rear right mudflap on the edge is peeling off!


On that same mudflap the top left corner, the paint is bubbling and it moves. Im scared


Anybody have these problems?

Your truck was re-painted at some point. Whoever re-painted those areas didn't prep them well enough, and now it's peeling.

I don't know if the place you bought it from is going to cover this one. You might be out of luck.

I resemble that remark!

Yes as Jason said it was probably repainted at one time.
That type of plastic is quite often a pain to make paint stick to for extended periods. I believe there is just too much flex in the material to really have a good bond.

Rather then going through the expense of having them repainted. I kinda gave up on them and I am waiting for all of mine to flake off and then I am going with the bare plastic. I think I might have them lightly sandblasted to add texture and never worry about them again.

I had the no paint flares on my Rav4 and they were trouble free.

Depends on the look you are going for with your truck?

well it's better than having a big scratch on your running board because it was hit by the wall!!!!:mad:
