Pacesetter headers

Ive got a pretty messed up exhuast manifold on my 2.7L Tacoma. Im not looking to replace it with a stock manifold again and have it break after 30k, like on my 4Runner.

Has anyone tried running Pacesetter headers like this one from Summit on the 2.7?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

I was pricing LC Engineering headers at about $350, and The Pacesetters are $169. I know that usually you get what you pay for and i dont wanna end up wasting my money.

Just for kicks check out the size of the crack in my manifold

pacesetter sucks. i had em on my old chevy 350, from the minute i got them i was having fitment problems, and customer care said its normal cuz it needs to seat. so it still wouldnt. so we said screw it and sent them back and got hookers.

I have Pacesetters on my 22RE. Small fitment Issues which are to be expected for anything aftermarket and cheap

I also helicoiled all the holes, added new studs and bolts.

No Issues since. Nice performance gains and sound, after I upgrade the muffler cat and 2.25" Stainless all the way back.

22re, tried two different Pacesetter headers. Their customer service was good but their product SUCKS.

I went with the Doug Thorley, awesome product but there customer service SUCKS.

Whatever you decide on I recommend if possible go through Summit Racing to order. Good tech on eveything I've bought from them and good customer service.
