Other than Bob, who uses their TJM for shackle mounts ?

Other than Bob, who uses their TJM for shackle mounts ?
I know all the literature says don't do it and I can see the easy mod to the brackets to make a shackle fit perfectly ala Bob the Mod.
So, who does and who doesn't ?
