If you like to use the aux lights while the engine is not running get one of the deep cycle Optimas (Yellow or Blue). If not, the red should work fine as long as your alt is working fine. I use the blue for my truck because I like to run the aux stuff with the engine off (winch, refrigerator, stereo, etc). The blue is just like the yellow except the blue has some extra wingnut posts on top for aux stuff.

I got one of the spacers for the red and it was too tall, so I just custom made one out of some scrap plywood, with a little rubber mat stuck to the plywood to keep the battery from sliding around in the tray.

i cant seem to find the yellow top. Does anyone know what the number is for a 3rd gen 4runner. Im able to get this 20% off so it will cost me a little more than a red top...and it has 2 extra poles for my aux lights and stuff. Does anyone have the yellow as thier primary battery?
