i was ready to put a supra engine in, had all the instructions how and access to everything i needed, but i found out one detail that made me drop the idea. i need a tranny out of a 4 cylinder for it to work, and i didnt have the money for a waste like that since my tranny is in great condition.

no offense, but if the cost of a 4 cylinder tranny is out of your price range, none of the swaps are for you right now.

you would still have the 4runner tranny to sell.

i would have to get a r series tranny, and used its $1000. i mean 2-300 isnt bad, but a extra grand is just overkill. plus the fact that i would have to rebuild it....def. too much.
