Opinions on Lotek A Pillar Pods

Searched the forums already but didn't find the info I was looking for. Anyone recently buy an A pillar gauge pod from Lotek. I've used them in my Supra and the quality wasn't very good. What I'd like to know is how well they fit and how well the Oak color matches with the factory interior.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks

Vic

I have one and it fits and looks great. Unfortunately i ordered a black one with my oak interior because i heard there was paint that matched it and it was cheaper, but i have been unable to find the paint :-(

I installed a lotek dual pod for my gray interior, and from the pictures on their website, assumed it would match. Not quite. Color of the pod is lighter. Fitment is so-so.

I have a dual pod one. I ordered it in black and it looks okay with my tan interior. The fit is fine for me, I wasn't expecting to win a Concours d'Elegance competition with it.

My only negative feeling is that $70 is lot for a piece of injection blown plastic.

I have one and agree with midiwall. I love mine, but the price was kind of too high I thought.

I've got the dual-gauge black in my tan interior. Seems fine to me, it matches the gauge surrounds and other black plastic elements of the 4Runner's interior. Kind of annoying it doesn't come with self-tapping screws, but oh well.

As for price, well, I didn't feel completely ripped off, and they had really fast shipping. They shipped mine the same day I ordered it!

I bought one, the price is eh....ok I suppose considering the alternatives....what I didn't like was that after I ordered it, I got an email stating that the item was backordered.....had I known beforehand, I wouldn't have ordered it....took about 3 weeks from the day I ordered it to get it in my door...I wish someone made a 3-guage pod

Dood... Run dual or quad faced gauges!

I run a dual gauge from Westach that covers EGT and AF/R. Kinda' looks like this but one side is A/FR:

The retail from Westach is about $100, but I got a killer deal from AirStuff.com at around $60.

Westach can set you up with almost ANYTHING in the left/right side. Their site's a bit weird under anything but IE, but in general:

located you guys through a search-these threads never die

So you would have had to remove the driver's side "oh S&^%" handle-could it be moved to the roof location like the passenger side?

edit: I think I found my own answer just a few threads away in my search here is a link:
