I'm a newbie here, but looking at the different lifts people have tried I am thinking about lifting my stock 1997 4Runner to an all OME setup. I am shopping around for the best deal here in Sacramento since I don't know anything about suspension, any recommendations?

There you will get a good indication and idea of what's available for lifting. Steve Schaefer hasn't update his write-up there with his supposed "superior" lift which is HERE.

The best seems to up for interpretation and how use plan on using it.

 

You guys are great - the problem is I don't know which setup would be best because I don't know how to compare apples and oranges (Swayabar and OME). I am looking for 2 inches of lift and I will be using it for my first foray into offroading. I live about an hour and a half from the Rubicon and I would love to be able to tackle that trail.
