OME install on my 85 toy
I too installed an OME leaf spring set up on my truck. WOW!!!! I didn't realize how worn out the springs were. My truck now sits 5" higher than it did. Thats right 5", I'm sure it will settle some but I feel like I need a ladder to get into it now
. I bought the OMe set up from Mike at xtreme off road. I also added a set of NWOR greasable shackles at the same time. First impressions of this set up are a firmer ride but not neer as "choppy" as it was before. Might have something to do with the suspension being able to work like it is supposed to but I'm not sure LOL. Sorry no pics, I'm on the trailing edge of technology with all this digital camera stuff.

5 inches, damn thats a lot! That's cool that you're able to still find parts for it, I used to have an '85 Supra, and it was nearly impossible to find parts for it. I also had an '85 Celica, with a 22RE, that was a great motor. The only problem I had was a front main leak at 130,000 which was easy to fix. Rock on, at least you don't have to save up for a SAS! Is new gear ratio's on your want list? I have two sets of 4:88's ready for install, and a Supra LSD diff. I'm waiting on my friend to show up, and we'll probably get the new gears set up and installed.
