What are my options as far as engine replacement goes? What can I stuff under the hood?

I know Chevy 350's fit, but I don't know anything as far as price, difficulty, etc. I would like to know, though. And the Supra turbo engine (7mgte? something like that) and I heard there are some Lexus V8's that fit, too.

Convert to a newer 3.4L taco or 4 runner motor or the cheaper option replace your 3VZE with a reman one. They are on ebay all the time.

Small-block Fords are smaller than than SB Chevys. Used to be an Aussie site that showed a 302 stuffed into a 2nd gen that was really sweet.

you could also do some head work and tweak the 3.0 a bit. Slow, but reliable
