Oil quantity...

Hey all,

I am away from my 92 owner's manual and was curious as to the quantities needed for my 92 4Runner for the following:

Front diff
Rear diff
T-Case

The viscosity should be 75W-90 for all of those, correct? I think I'm going to switch to synthetic, probably to Amsoil. Any known problems for a 92 with almost 200,000 miles on it? Should I just stay with regular?

For your 92 4Runner, I believe it uses ATF fluid in the transfer case not gear oil like the 3rd gens.

I think all your answers can be found in this thread:

Are you sure about the ATF seeing as though it's a 5 spd?

It says right in my picture that sticks use 75-90 gear lube in the T case.
Only the V6 automatic uses ATF in the transfer case.
