Holy cow!
You might consider getting some quotes from other companies?
I know some cities are more expensive, but that's robbery. I only pay a hair over 600 for the F150 and a bit less for the FlamedToy. Per year, full coverage. Oh, and there's a discount on the car insurance because they carry my homeowners insurance, which essentially makes the HO ins free. (Wanna hear a deal, my 71 Cougar convertible has collector car insurance, full coverage agreed replacement value and it's $80 per year.) All that's with Farmers Insurance.

But then, I don't have the Winchells/Cop thing on my record....

your waisting you money on full coverage, what you want is Agreed amount. that why when you mess it up they pay. but for that will cost you, you might as well just go back to liability and pay for what your brake. not trying to sound like jerk but its the truith, all we do is sale insurance

BUT i have a separate savings accout that i put about $100 a month in. if anything happens to my truck that would be covered by better insurance, i pay for it out of that account. this way the evil corporations don't get my money.
I have always had that same basic mentality / theory. What prevents me from actually going for it is knowing that I'd be very tempted to spend the accumulated loot on more mods. A monthly insurance premiums worth of $$$ in a separate account would add up real quick! I agree though if you have excellent self control that is a great idea.

I personally don't see how it's legal for insurance co's to charge the law abiding customers inflated premiums to cover losses caused by (other peoples) fraud. I also don't see how they can legally raise your rates for filing a claim. Isn't that part of the deal??? Correct me if I'm wrong but insurance is there to protect you from loss, that's what you're paying so much for :pat:

It would only be fair if they gave you some money back annually for not filing claims!

I'd deffinately shop around, I have 4 cars 3 of which have full coverage with 500 deductables, and one with liability only,

1997 Taco 4x4
1996 4Runner 4x4
2002 Honda Accord
1984 Toy Tercel wagon

Guess which one is liability only?, Anyway i am only paying ~75 a month for all 4 of my cars and i have one ticket on my record too...

BTW i have allstate, I also had 21st Century and they were pretty good too...
