OE Keyless Entry Sucks

why cant i push the UNLOCK button once and open ALL the doors? what a pita!

someone please help me, its driving me nuts.

I think it's a security thing incase you need to get into your car quick, and only want you to be the one getting in.

It would be nice if there was a way to program it the way you wanted it though.


Also most cars with remotes are like that. I guess it's just an industry standard

thats how my keyless entry is on my 2nd gen....one press and everything is unlocked...i do have a solution for ya though for your 3rd gen...since your so unhappy with it...maybe we should just swap rigs...sounds like my 95 is what your looking for i think i could put up with the PITA keyless entry youve got.... let me know if youre interested... hey anything to help out a yotatecher right?

RT,

The RS3200s have the twice open button configurations whereas the RS3000s do not. i had the 99 w/ the 3200 and now i have the 98 w/ the 3000s so thats how i know.

im done with 2nd gens, thats why i sold my '93.

What Bob said. The RS 3000 is a one-push-does-all. If worst comes to worst you could either swap in an RS 3000 or just get an aftermarket system.
