OBD-I Codes

I have a 92' Pickup and I'm not familiar with OBD-I.
Is it possible for the computer to store codes/information without the check engine light coming?

Yes! The Check connector is under your hood next to your fuse box, grab a paperclip and put one end into the "t" or "te" terminal and the other end into the "e" or "e1", turn the key to on but do not start, a code will flash on the dash, if you have no codes, it will flash real fast, if you have a code, it will flash a 2 part code, example: code 21 would be ** followed by a short pause and then a *, and then the code would repeat itself or start another code!

Good Luck!

Finally pulled the code!

I pulled code 14 which I think is a ignition signal problem. What could cause something like this and what should I check??
