O2 error from computer

Ok I have had this reoccuring error in the 4runner I have changed the O2 sensor 2 times now and after 1 day it gives the error again.
Anyone have an Idea why this would be happening?

Probably the wiring from the o2 sensor to the computer is damaged in some way, or the connector on the o2 may not be making a good connection, hope this helps

What error are you talking about?
Is this an OBD code? If so, what was the actual code number?

David,
I had the same problem on my 92. The wire harness for the 02 sensor goes accross the truck along the cross member. Check the section right underneath the exhaust pipe. My exhaust pipe had touched the wire loom where it is wrapped with a thermo protection wrap. So the damage was not visible. I removed all of the covering, spliced the wires together, wraped all wires indvidually + together, and put all of the protective covering pack on. Worked like a charm. Don't know if that is the case with yours but it a place to check.
