Not so great Optima 34R experience - advice anyone?

Here is something new. I just went up from work to the store and noticed the automatic locks aren't locking (but they are unlocking and the keyless remote works).

I've had my red top for about 5 or 6 years now. The only time I ever noticed anything other than great performance was Thanksgiving weekend. I was up in the mountains and on a particularly cold morning it turned over slower than usual. But, the truck started right up. So, . . .

Update - I took the battery over to Advance Auto and had it tested. You guessed it - a bad battery. Now I've got to return it to 1st-optima-batteries.com.
I'll let everyone know how the process goes. Anyone have experience with them on a return?

My advice is to buy a regular 60 month battery. A well secured, properly sized battery will last a long time compared to some of the hack installs I've seen on optima batteries. Those "spacers" and wedges of wood used to make these things fit properly are a joke. Then there are those "universal" ones with terminals in the middle of the battery that cause you to stretch your connections. If you have a winch then you should be running it off a separate battery, not your starting battery.
