That turn looks familiar... On the road past santo tomas? Is there a short cut down to the left just before where you took that pic?
I tried that short cut during the Baja 500 many years back. It worked, but I don't think I'll do it again!

SOAZ Tim, yeah, its on the way to Cabras. I know the short cut you're talking about.
We tried it, then somehow it just dead ended into a huge sand flat.
