No power to AC compressor

My AC blows tepid air. Recharged Freon. Fuses are good but wire is cold… the truck is a 93 4Runner with a 99 3.4 in it. I didn’t do the swap but everything else electrical seems to be working fine. There’s a second connector right beside the compressor connector that is getting voltage but wasn’t plugged in anywhere (black plug in photo). Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That could be a real scooby doo mystery. I guess it all depends on how much of the electrical system related to the A/C is from the '93, and how much is related to the '99.

I think the R134A system in the '99 is a bit more complex, with both high and low pressure cutoff switches. I'm not sure how this was integrated in your swap. though.

I think first thing you'd need to do is figure out the mix of 99 and 93 parts.

That’s a great point. Everything electrical up to the cold compressor wire is 93 or ORS harness. I contacted them today and they’re getting me a list of things to check but think it may be the AC amplifier unless there’s a bad wire in the mix.

the compressor, lines, refrigerant etc. (everything not currently getting juice) is from the 99.
