I purchased this beast a few months back and due to being in Arizona. I am in need of some Air Conditioning. It is the SR5 model everything power and with factory AC. the AC was removed prior to me. I installed the pump, lines and all necessary things to get it going. The black wire from the AC compressor has to plug into something and I can not for the life of me find the female connector on the harness? Is there a colored wire i should be looking for other than black? the pump kicks on with i jump the 12v to the battery. Is there a low pressure switch on these years?

 

Are you sure the black wire isn't (extra) ground? I don't know anything about the '84, but on mine the compressor clutch has a single wire, and the compressor clutch is grounded through the compressor body to the block.
