Well done with all the info on your web site... looking good.

Now for some questions...

How's the insurance on the Surf these days? I had heard they changed some law on imports.

Have you looked into getting your seats engineered?
The other option might be to cut off the Toyota factory mounts and bolt those to the new seats. The finer details have slipped my mind, but I think you're OK if you either use the same mounting holes, or you use the original factory brackets - can't remember exactly what I was told
Anyway, the reason I mention it, I don't want to see you get shafted on your insurance.

Do you have any ideas where that grill may have come from? or can you tell it was modified to fit?

Thanks,
David.

From your mate's web site...

A couple of weeks later I got a phone call from him and he was in hospital. He had a head on in it at 110km/hr with a hotted up RX7. He used the RX7 as a launch ramp and rolled end to end three times. There were 3 passengers who were all injured, but nobody was killed, and the Suzi was a write off.

While it's bad for the new owner, plus of course poor Suzi, that part about the launch ramp had me

Also, could you ask Brock (with the Wrangler) where he got his Extreme Racing sticker please?
A mate of mine has got a stock Wranger as well and he's looking to, quote, "rice it up a bit"... that should do the trick!

Sorry for flooding ya thread

RE: Insurance

David, insurance isn't too bad, I've had it for 2.5 years now and it goes down a small amount each year, am with just cars who are pretty decent !!
regarding the seats i was going to get them 'engineer fitted' and have a compliance plate, but got charged $500 which is what i paid for the seats wholesale so just got my mate to fit them whos an engineer by trade. haven't had problems with insurance and the seats, but not sure about QLD law ?!
Glad you guts like the sites, cheers
Dan.
