I've actually been toying with the idea (since I ain't bought my tires and wheels yet) of trying to get the backspacing I need in the wheels and if I need to add a spacer to push the tire out some more to get the 305/70r16's to fit. (33x12.5) I may have to trim a little (or a lot) but what the hey, it's not under warranty anymore and I probably won't sell it. I'm just afraid of hitting the suspension components in front with the side wall or possibly the rim.

Does anyone know if a 33x12.50x16 will fit on a 3rd Gen with the proper backspacing? I'm currently seeing over 2" of lift up front. The front is the main thing I'm concerned about. I will pound and grind if needed

My friend has the ssr's and loves em. The sidewalls are alittle more aggressive than the average tsl, and Interco designed them with a new type of rubber or whatever they make them out of, but anyways they are supposed to last a lot longer than your average swamper. In the mud these would kill almost any tire except the bogger. My friend really loves them.

My friend is on his second set of ssr's and loves them. He got around
30,000 miles out of the first set and also said they ride nice and are not
real loud for an aggressive tire.

i voted ssr because i like it as the better of the two. but if you're getting a swamper, make it a BOGGER!
i profer bfg muds too. inexpensive and good.
