new shoes on my 4runner

i've got a '98 4runner with the stock wheels, tried to jazz them up by painting and it sort of worked, but then i saw the '06 5 spoke tacoma wheels and was in love. so, here are some pics of my 4runner with the new wheels on, enjoy!

fireteacher -
yeah, i went to the 265/75s when i got the new tires and it suits me fine. now, when i get it paid off and do the sonoran lift i'll have to go bigger to fill the space.

keith -
thankfully, i run the detail dept of a dealership in my town so these pics of my 4runner are about as dirty as it ever gets

elton -
i got these on ebay, used but in really nice shape, with lugs and center caps for $400 shipped. they had some light scratches i think from the shipping boxes rubbing on them, but i wet sanded and polished them up and they are like new. $100/wheel isn't bad, it's the tires that will kill you!

thanks for the replies everyone!
patrick

hey bob, yeah, it does look like they are missing but i do have bumper lenses on there. i went a little crazy with the smoke paint. two light coats hardly made a difference, and one more blacked them out and i didn't feel like doing it again. i tried this with my amber ones and the signal looked purple when it was on, so i did the clear ones and it's really bright orange even with the blacked out signals. i think i'm gonna wire the corner lights in with the turn signals just so people can see me signal from the side and the cops don't complain (or ticket me).
thanks for the kind words everyone, i'm off to make a showoff thread for myself, i still haven't done that!

patrick - yeah, i think i do have a patty fetish, but a good nickname sticks with you for life!

Nice. I like the SR5 on the side. I'm gonna do that on mine. Is it the same SR5 that's on the back?

yup, i just ordered the same rear SR5 emblem that's on my '98 rear hatch and put it on the sides where the Limiteds have theirs. i just eyeballed it on one side and measured it and then did the same on the other side hoping for some symmetry, not exact but OK by me. some like badge-less, but i wear my SR5 proudly

oh, i just made my showoff thread here:

thanks all,

Trial? haha. Hard to come by when all land not used up by a city/town is farmland. We have almost no public land. The only trail you can get around here is a mud road.
