New shocks needed with lift??

I am planning on installing a set of 2" Cornfed spacers on my 2000 4runner. With ride quality in mind, should I replace the stock shocks (with about 67k miles on them) with a set of OME shocks while I already have the suspension apart? Will the new shocks counteract some of the stiffness that the spacers would create? I just want to make sure I do everything right the first time, because I have heard that taking apart the front suspension is not exactly fun!! Thanks guys.
