New Runner
Well, finally picked it up. 173,000 miles. 4wd. $5000. Just need some new tires now. And then a new head unit, as it's just got the tape deck, which actually doesn't sound half bad, considering its a factory unit and 10 years old. Only other issue really is the antenna doesnt go up and down. i can hear the motor trying to retract it, but it doesnt do anything. i'll be looking into that soon. Took a quick pic after i picked it up. i'll post some more fairly soon.

it is. i'm not too fond of the wheels though, and will probably go with something simple, and black in the near future. it also doesn't have the cross bars for the rack, which i'll be loking for, or i might see if yakima has feet that fit into the factory rails, and i can use the bars and other yakima stuff from my other car.

If you aren't partial to the power antenna, you should look into the tacoma whip antenna mod. Type it in in the search field and you should find at least one thread with part #s. But basically you end up with one of the black whip style antennas from a tacoma. It's more durable offroad and looks better IMO, and only cost around $50 if I remember correctly.

Looks good. I would consider it a good deal, you never know how much you're gonna have to pay for a runner. I have been watching the prices for a few months now, since I'm about to sell an 04 corolla and pick up a runner. Runner prices jump around more than circus clowns
