I have the same truck as you, and will be getting the SS 7.1 lift next spring. Later, when I move up to 33" tires, I will be getting 16 x 8" rims with 4" backspacing. That should clear the upper A-arm just fine even with the 305/70R16's that I want.

I am thinking about getting the aluminum rims from Wheeler's:

I like the black ones. Good luck.

BTW - your truck looks awesome.

I know you asked what rims would work for your situation, but in case you wanted to keep your current wheels, you have a couple options to clear the upper As without getting new wheels...

1. Purchase a set of wheel spacers, or
2. Have Sonoran Steel to shave your Upper As.
3. Otherwise, get a set of 16x8 rims w/ the proper backspacing.

Personally, I like the TRD IS wheels that are 16x8 in size (See my Profile in my sig for pics.) Quite a few guys also like the Mickey Thompson Classics that are 16x8.

Yes, do the search--and the problem is not the height, but the width--Search Micky Thompson Classic II's and you will get the correct backspacing which is 3 5/8ths and the MT model number is 368412.

This brings the wheel out an inch away from the A's--or shave the A's

Boy, you know you've been around here for a while when you see the new guys telling each other to search.

Makes my heart warm, it does...

No problem, make sure you post pics and let us know how they work out for you. Besides, I want to see how they will look on my truck!

well guys i actually cancelled my order and ordered these, they are powdercoated from the factory and come with the hubs and are cheaper because free shipping and if you order now you get a 100 gift card...i actually think these are the same rims just black instead of polished http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT246425.aspx

How about LC rims? Do they have the proper backspacing? I know spacers are an option, but do they compromise the integrity of the vehicle while wheeling? Any horror stories?

That website says that they are not hub centric. I thought 3rd gens needed hub centric rims - am I wrong?

Here are some pics of the pro comps https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/p...inside-125080/ which I think look nice.

Another option you could think about is LC or LX450 wheels which is what I have they have the correct amount of backspacing you needa and they look good.

LX450 wheels from a Lexus

LC wheels
