New to Lifts, Need Mod Help!!!

I'm about to get a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner and I have alot of things in mind that I want to do my new Toy. I'm very new to the off-road scene. The main thing I want for my truck is the off-road look. Here is the combo I'm looking to go with. Any better ideas or suggestions you can think of are greatly appreciated.

Wheels/tires
265/70R16 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO's with Ivan Stewert TRD Rims (16x8)
($1349.00) Are these 31's, 32's????

Lifts and Suspension
Full 2.5" Kit ($140.00) Procomp lift from toytech

With this setup I'm going for a classy looking truck. Nothing too big but a visual difference from the stock look. Any better combos??? How are these tires compared to others??? Am I paying too much???

From what I have read the Ivan stewert TRD rims are a PITA to balance!

Do you just want the off-road look or do you also want off-road performance? If you want off-road performance, look into a 4X4.

Sounds like a decent pricing for the wheel and tire combo. Although I am not definite, 265s are leaning towards 32". I'm sure someone can shine in with their expertise answer.

I am not familiar with lifts.

if you want a mild lift with very little offroading, i recommend the 2.5-3" cornfed spacer lift up front. Pair it up with a 1-1.5" lift shackle or add-a-leaf for the rear with bilstein 5100 shocks.

265/75/16's are closer to 32"s, again if you want the aggressive look, mud terrains will do the job.

For the wheels; everyone has their preference but i think black wheels looks aggressive.

I'm really only going for the off-road look. The only off-roading is driving a road off the highway for me :-) That's why I'm looking into the Prerunner, I'd rather a have 4x2.

PITA??? Also, the wheels and rims come mounted and balanced.

Here what I'm looking at for the lift,
Full 2.5" Kit
Included in kit- 2.5" front coil spacers, Add-A-Leaf for the rear springs, Centering pin, Brake proportioning valve bracket, and directions.

Here's more info:

Lift Site! (toytechs)
- Wheels and Tires -
BFG A/T w/ TRD Rims

PITA = Pain in the a$$

Sounds like a pretty good price but I would definately recommend the black wheels to offer a more aggressive look.

With a 31 inch tire and a 2.5 inch lift, what do you think the clearance would be like? I don't want a huge gap from the tire to the truck but a moderate one.

with a 2.5" lift, i'd go for 265/75/16. i have about 2.5" lift now and it looks wimpy on current 265/70/16.
